A Studebaker story

Back blogging a day late (sorry about that), but hey it is the holidays after all.

There was an interesting story yesterday in the South Bend Tribute about the Studebaker and it's "starring role" in The Muppet Movie. Most people in my generation are probably only aware of the Studebaker - which ceased production in 1966 - because Fozzie Bear and Kermit the Frog famously spend a good portion of the movie driving around in a 1951 Studebaker Commander.

The Studebaker is gone, but not forgotten. The Studebaker Museum in South Bend, Indiana has preserved the car's history, but unfortunately the collection doesn't include either of two cars used by the Muppets.
