The Wippets are a new "puppet troupe in the making".
More and more animators seem to be branching out in to puppetry. The latest are The Wippets, a new "puppet troupe in the making" from Halifax who have been experimenting with video puppetry and sharing their work online. Each video features two of their puppets Barff & Spafford (built by Nate Pacheco) interacting with folks from Collideascope Animation where the videos are shot. New videos are usually posted Sundays or Mondays each week.
Looks like the potential for lots of good stuff is developing in Halifax and it's nice to see even more Canadians doing puppetry on the web!
