What would you do if you were a little boy and woke up to the sight of this?
Parents, Who Needs Them? is one of those fantastically retro, hopelessly outdated industrial/educational films from the 1970s. The film (actually a remake of an earlier film called Appreciating Parents) tells the story of a magic puppet that makes a little boy invisible so he can learn to appreciate his parents and just how tedious Mom and Dad's world really is.
The film's description on YouTube says it's a little creepy because the boy's voice is dubbed by a woman, but personally I find the thought of being made invisible by a talking hand puppet much, much more disturbing. If that had happened to me as a child I would have been in therapy for years.
