If you ever needed further proof of Jim Henson's genius, take a look at this 1960s commercial for Muppet toys. Who else back then was selling cute looking plush puppets with a sweet-sounding rhyme of "Oh buy us, oh buys us we beg...for if you don't buy us we'll bite you in the leg."
Clearly, children's advertising used to be a whole lot more fun before it was regulated.
