Tim the Tortoise talks about the challenges of being disabled in a British PSA.
Creature Discomforts is a new series of public service announcements in Britain designed to change the way most people view the disabled and make them more aware of the challenges disables Britons face in day-to-day life. The campaign was produced by Aardman Animation and are based on Aardman's popular Creature Comforts films.
The PSAs are classic Aardman, featuring terrific stop-motion animation that's filled with lots of nice subtle touches. This is the kind of thing I'd love to see more of in puppetry and I think we need more puppetry artists who work to the kinds of standards that Nick Park and the rest of the Aardman crew do.
