PuppetGreetings.com is Free!

I've been meaning to report for a little while now that PuppetGreetings.com - the puppet video ecard service - is now totally free! Their site also got a makeover recently, so go have a look and send a puppet greeting to someone you love.

New JibJab Puppet Sendables

"Motor Mouth Malone" stars in a new series of Film Noir inspired ecards from JibJab Sendables.

JibJab has a new series of "Sendables" ecards (see previous post) featuring a new puppet character called Motor Mouth Malone performed by Swazzle's Sean and Patrick Johnson.

You can watch the videos at the link above and if you want to send one as a customized greeting JibJab will give you 50 free credits (a $5 value) when you register.

Naughty Santa

Santa helps a little boy who wants something naughty for Christmas.

This is a Christmas video from PuppetGreetings.com about Santa helping a naughty little boy named Billy with his girl trouble. Santa was performed by Kevin Carlson and Billy by Patrick Johnson. That great-looking Santa puppet in the video was built by the very talented Dave Pavelonis.

Greetings From Hell

Greetings From Hell is a new series of video ecards featuring puppets from JibJab.

JibJab - the Flash animation studio best known for the famous 2004 U.S. election parody This Land - have introduced a new service on their web site called Sendables; funny videos that you can send to someone with a personalized message. A series of Sendables called Greetings From Hell feature puppets of Satan and his minions fretting over getting old, accidentally torturing the wrong celebrity and forgetting anniversaries. Puppet video ecards aren't a new idea of course (Puppet Greetings has been doing this for a few years now) but Greetings From Hell is pretty clever and filled with the kind of sharp humour you expect from JibJab.

All the characters in Greetings From Hell were performed by Sean Johnson and Patrick Johnson (who apparently never sleep). The puppets themselves were built by Nate Pacheco.

The Pea Gees

The "Pea Gees" are the stars of a new musical ecard from PuppetGreetings.com.

PuppetGreetings.com has a new video ecard they describe as a disco tribute to the Gibb Brothers and singing vegetables...Barely Alive with the Pea Gees. I could make about a zillion more pea puns here, but instead I will just tell you that the great puppetry in this is supplied by Victor Yerrid, Carol Binion and Michelan Sisti.

Incidentally, the pea puppets featured in this video were built by Swazzle. A tutorial originally written by Swazzle's Sean Johnson explaining how the peas were built from large Nerf balls was recently posted on PuppetBuilding.com.
