Several weeks ago I wrote about an MTV pilot called Kid's Show (click for the previous post). I just learned that it actually made it to series! The re-titled Wonder Showzen (link via Corey) is an absurdist puppet variety show that with adult-themed puppet sketches sandwiched between old educational films and cartoons. It features puppets by Images in Motion and runs Friday nights on MTV 2 at 9:30 pm Eastern (6:30 Pacific).
It's not really to my taste, which is just as well since the CRTC doesn't let us get MTV 2 in Canada anyway (damn those Canadian Content regulations!). You can find more downloadable Showzen stuff here.
