There is a fantastic student-run puppetry club at Canton High School in Canton, Michigan. They just did a big show for their school last week and the sophmore who founded the club has been uploading the video of the event in segments to YouTube (you can check them all out in his profile here). I was really impressed by just how good all these high school students were and even more impressed by the fact that they are self-taught.
Take a look at their "Wooden Computer" sketch or this clip of the club lip-syncing to a song (note that the song doesn't start until about one minute in to the clip). The puppetry and staging are really good and all the more impressive considering they've put everything together themselves.
