Famous PEOPLE Players (see previous post) are probably the world's greatest black light puppetry troupe. They've toured all over the globe, staged two Broadway Shows, and run Canada's only theatre dedicated exclusively to puppet theatre.
Unfortunately, not much footage of their work surfaces on or offline - mostly because the company uses a lot of pop music that's expensive to get clearance for on video - so it's nice to see their agents uploading some video to YouTube for promotional purposes:
The problem with black light puppetry is that it just doesn't photograph well on video. This footage is made up of clips from several different numbers in their extensive repertoire dubbed over with new music. I've seen most of these numbers at one time or another and I think the dubbed music in the video destroys their impact, but trust me, if you see the company on a good night in a full size theatre they're an incredible sight to behold. There is no one else quite like them.
