Grego is a one-of-a-kind American puppeteer who lives and performs in Japan.
Grego is one of my favourite puppeteers. I had corresponded with him a couple of times over the past decade and finally got a chance to catch one of his shows live and get to know him a bit this past summer. He specializes in what he calls "musical puppetry" and he has a great one-of-a-kind one man show. Plus he owns the best pants ever (see them here).
Grego primarily performs in Japan, but occasionally hits the summer fair circuit in the U.S. If you ever get a chance to see one his shows, be sure not to miss it. Until then, take a look at this video of Grego performing that's available on Blip.tv.
