Sinilos Productions

Sinilos Productions
Spain's Sinilos Productions produces bright and colourful puppetry for kids.

Sinilos Productions is a puppetry company in Spain that performs live puppet shows for children. They have several videos of their work on YouTube and are also working on a TV pilot. I really like their work, the puppets are bright, colourful and well designed and they use an interesting mix of puppetry styles in their show. Have a look and see for yourself.

Real Pets on YouTube

Bufalo Red from Real Pets
Real Pets is an international children's series produced by Spain's famous Real Madrid soccer club.

About a year ago I mentioned Real Pets (see previous post), an adorable little puppet show from Spain that combines soccer and puppetry to teach positive values like tolerance, team work, bravery and courage that features puppets by Spain's very talented Román y Cía. You can now catch four episodes from the series en Español or English in the official Real Pets YouTube channel (link via Puppet Buzz).

Behind the Scenes of Los Lunnis

Puppet builder attaching an arm to a puppet
A puppet builder attaches an arm to a puppet from the Spanish educational series Los Lunnis.

Take a look behind the scenes of Los Lunnis, a popular educational puppet show on Televisión Española (TVE), Spain's national public broadcaster (see previous post). The video shows puppeteers rehearsing for the show and how the Los Lunnis puppets were created by Spain's Román y Cía.

Danger Music

Marimba Marionetas
Spain's Marimba Marionetas perform a little "danger music".

Here's a neat clip of two puppets performing musical instruments in a piece called Danger Music from Spain's Marimba Marionetas.

Los Lunnis

Lucho, one of the rowdier puppet characters on the educational Spanish puppetry series Los Lunnis.

Los Lunnis is a Spanish language educational puppet show I've discovered since being here in Mexico. The show is produced by Televisión Española (TVE), Spain's national public broadcaster and seems to be quite popular with lots of DVDs and merchandise available. I'm unsure whether or not it airs outside of Spain and Latin America, but a variety of Los Lunnis clips can be found on YouTube.
