Jack's Big Music Show is a brand new preschool series designed to expose and foster an appreciation of music in young children. The 13 episode series premiered earlier today and features a music loving puppet host named Jack and his "melodious cast of friends who play everyday at Jack's clubhouse."
I haven't seen the show yet, but over at TV Squad they gave it a mixed review. It certainly looks neat and the presence of children's entertainer Laurie Berkner on the show is an encouraging sign.
Principal puppeteers on the series include David Rudman, Alice Dinnean, and John Kennedy along with Frankie Cordero, Eric Jacobson, Joey Mazzarino, Larry Basgall, Mike Schwabe, and Stephanie Johnson.
Jack's Big Music Show airs on Noggin every day at 12:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. For more info on the series check out this press release from last month.
