Scrat is the squirrel obsessed with the last acorn on earth in the Ice Age movies. If you have the original Ice Age on DVD or are going to the theatre to see the sequel, check out how Scrat moves. He's a fantastic example of great, cartoony animation and arguably the best thing in both movies. Then pick up a puppet, go to the mirror and try to replicate the same movements.
If the puppet you're using can't be moved the way Scrat does, try designing and building one that will.
